Graduate student Tao Zhan from Dr. Shin-Tson Wu‘s LCD group is one of the 2020 IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Student Scholarship recipients.
The IEEE graduate student scholarship is highly competitive. Each year, there are only 10 recipients worldwide.
Tao is the 7th recipient from the LCD group. Group members received this scholarship in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2020.
