There’s community interest in the research happening at CREOL. FOX 35 (WOFL) interviewed CREOL and CECS Assistant Professor Leland Nordin about his work to develop a semiconductor light source with broad applications.
Nordin gave the news crew a tour of his lab. Graduate Lab Assistant Biridiana Rodriguez was also interviewed as she demonstrated the visuals of a laser diode wafer magnified by a microscope. The lab specializes in semiconductor materials and device design, growth, fabrication, and characterization.
