An Introduction to the Field of Optics and Photonics
The field of optics and photonics is about creating new scientific discoveries, improving current technologies, and contributing to a better world. And while you might not have studied optics and photonics for your bachelor’s degree, you may be surprised to find your degree has provided you with excellent preparation for graduate programs in Optics and Photonics.
CREOL, The College of Optics and Photonics offers master’s and doctoral degrees designed for undergraduate students who have majored in physics or electrical engineering. And on Friday, Nov. 13 at 2:30ET, you can join our world-leading faculty and their students and alumni to learn about opportunities in this field by attending our annual event: – Photonics in the 21st Century: An Introduction to the Field of Optics and Photonics.
- Optics and Photonics – Enabling technologies for the 21st
- Graduate school opportunities in Optics and Photonics
- Preparing your application
- Learning about graduate funding opportunities and how to apply for graduate school
- Life as a graduate student
- Graduate programs at CREOL and beyond
