CREOL graduate students Zheyuan Zhu, Weiyu Chen and undergraduate students Jairo Serrano have been invited as volunteer judges for the annual Seminole County Regional Science, Math and Engineering Fair (SCRSMEF). SCRSMEF is an annual showcase of STEM projects conducted by middle and high school students in Seminole County. CREOL students have continuously volunteered as judges for SCRSMEF in previous years. Judges score the projects in their respective categories and select winners for competition in State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida in March 2020. This year’s event was held on February 1st. Zhu and Serrano were judging in the category of physics and astronomy, Chen in the category of engineering. More than 300 students presented their projects in 15 categories during the event.
