A new Postdocoral Scholar, Sumit Singh, has joined the Braiman group. Sumit earned his B.Sc. in Physics at the University of Delhi and his M.Sc. in Physics at IIT Guwahati. He obtained his Ph.D. from Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, as a MEXT scholar, with research focused on materials science and optics, particularly structured light beams and functional materials.
Sumit’s current research interests lie in experimental optics, with a particular focus on phase locking in semiconductor diode laser arrays.
