Research

The research in the Quantum Leap Initiative has its foundations on prior research collaborations between members of the team. Some of the ongoing projects underpinning this initiative are:

This UCF funded project supports the establishment of a new collaboration between three groups at UCF with the main goal of building an efficient source of correlated photon pairs in nested anti-resonant hollow-core fiber for quantum network applications.

This program builds on a collaboration between The City College of New York and The University of Central Florida and seeks to advance the fundamental understanding of quantum phenomena in engineered optical structures endowed with additional degrees of freedom by manipulating the fundamental properties of light and its interaction with nanomaterials.
