Ph.D. student Yuge “Esther” Huang receives 2018 SID Metro Detroit Academic Award

Ph.D. student Yuge “Esther” Huang received a 2018 SID Metro Detroit Academic Award. She will receive the award at the Vehicle Display Conference in Detroit Michigan, and give an oral presentation. There were three awards: two for in-state Michigan students and one for worldwide out-of-state students. After fierce competition, Esther became the only out-state winner. According to Esther’s adviser, Dr. Shin-Tson Wu: “Soon, our cars may implement Esther’s new display devices.”
