Biography

Krishna Murari is a postdoctoral associate at the University of Central Florida in the Institute for the Frontier of Attosecond Science and Technology.

Dr. Murari received his PhD degree from Max Planck Society and Deutsche Electron Synchrotron (DESY) in Germany in 2016. He did his Integrated M.Sc in Photonics from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India in 2011. He was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, the United States in 2011. Before joining his PhD programme at DESY he worked as Research Assistant at the Indian Insitute of Technology, Bombay, collaboratively with Applid Materials Inc. on thin film solar cells. He is now working on the development of high-energy mid-infrared lasers for attosecond photonics.
