Chris is pursuing a thesis-option master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a technical focus in Thermo-Fluids. His research interests include mathematical modeling for performance prediction of engineered systems and optomechanics.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from UCF in August, 2019. During his senior year, Chris worked with an interdisciplinary team of fellow undergraduate students to update a manufacturing process used to fuse fiber-optic to a micro-lens element. This corporately-sponsored engineering capstone project represents the first successful collaboration of its kind between CREOL and UCF’s Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.
Additionally, Chris holds a current Engineering Intern (EI) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
