Undergraduate student Jasmine Thompson, an undergraduate Optics student working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Laser Plasma Laboratory, won third place in the Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence, April 7, 2016, as part of UCF Student Research Week with her poster presentation entitled “Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy of sub-nanoliter droplets”. There were over 300 participants.
